Hello! I am a southern California-based artist. I have been honing my artistic skills for the last couple of years. My art journey began in December 2018. I was in therapy healing from domestic abuse and childhood trauma.  Art therapy revealed an unknown talent!  I fell in love with expressing myself through art. It has since become my full time "Job"  if you want to call it that.  I’ve been experimenting with different mediums such as acrylic pouring, alcohol inks, and various painting techniques.. My favorite subject matter is nature. My son who lives with autism, loves to be outside so we spend a lot of time in the mountains and at the beach traveling and hiking.  My son has taught me to slow down and experience life from a different perspective.  I notice everything now.  Colors and textures and shapes.  Inspiration is everywhere! I’m constantly inspired to try new things.  

In search for good reference photos I began taking pictures with my iPhone.. My work started getting noticed and people started purchasing my photographs. So, I’ve purchased a new camera and I’ve been having some fun!   

Because I have a background in teaching and I love being an entrepreneur, I have developed an online art school. My school has over 10 on-demand art classes as well as community based membership programs to support paint party business owners as well as artists who are looking to improve their skills.  I am always adding new classes.  

If you look around my site you will notice I have tried many different types of art, from painting to photography.  I can guarantee there will be more!   My friends always joke about keeping me away from art and craft shows because I will come home and start experimenting!   I was once told that someone couldn't tell what I was wanting to "Say" with my art.  He said I needed to find my own artistic voice, so people would be able to identify me by my style....to that I say, what you see here is me, 100% authentically me, and that is MY artistic voice.
